Keep it simple Knowledge!!…. This is too important to wait and give you the secret at the end of the article! The secret is Keep it Simple knowledge! Now, you might be asking — knowledge of what? Diets, Calories, Carbs, Fats, Macros? Not really! That information is helpful if you have an interest in becoming a dietician, nutritionist, or athlete. Without an intense passion for health and wellness, most individuals do not have the desire to spend their free time receiving an unofficial degree in nutrition!
Ok, I feel like I have to include some common cliches that help us decide and commit to healthier eating:
- Understanding your personal “why”
- Honest self-evaluation of realistic expectations
- Celebrate EVERY successful decision! (Most important)
- It's a marathon, not a sprint! Be patient with yourself!
Keep it simple knowledge involves asking yourself these two questions:
- What positive effect does this food/drink have on me?
- What negative effect does this food/drink have on me?
